Anneliese's Treasure Chest, originally built in 1876, it was the site of Fred Elfer's first general store. Located at 212 Division Street, you will not only find many unique gifts and souvenirs, but also the exclusive Kelleys Island afghan, woodcarvings by Matt Cramer, and nautical furnishings by Jason VerSluys. Go back into time and enjoy the sounds of an old player piano while searching for your treasures!
Grapevine Gifts located at The Kelley's Island Wine Co. features their distinctive signature clothing in addition to an array of wine related items and gifts and gourmet packaged goods.
Kelleys Landing (in the former Kelleys Cove location). The same high quality Gear clothing line is available, complimented with a new upscale addition of Blue 84. Yes, you can still get t-shirts, sweat shirts, jackets, hats, totes and bags. But, you'll find some unexpected and interesting additions. The shop features 14kt. gold and sterling jewelry, swarovski crystal sunglasses, frogs by Kitty Critters, snowmen by Willaraye, American Chestnut figurines, nautical gifts, McCalls candles and much more including a fine line of clothing. A truly unique treasure featured only at Vi's is the 14kt gold "KI" and island-shaped charms.
The Village Peddler is located in the heart of downtown. Lake Erie survival wear includes Kelleys Island t-shirts and classic sportswear for men, women, and children. Artistically arranged store windows entice you to browse through this shop with a tin ceiling and old-fashioned cabinetry, a reminder that this was once a dry goods store.
The Original Island Fudge Shop is located in the historic Fred Elfers building on Division in the downtown area. When you visit stop in and try some of our delicious home made fudge or something from the candy counter. We have slush puppies and fountain drinks as well as Good Humor ice cream treats to cool you down on those hot summer days.
The Island Market, located in the heart of downtown, is your island grocery headquarters. Not only will you find your daily staples and snacks, but beer and wine, and the Ohio Lottery. Don't forget to stop next door at the Island Fudge Shop for a tasty treat.
Travel north on Division St. to Unc'l Dik's to enjoy a creamy treat from Toft's. As their sign says, "hot dresses, cool treats" are featured at this supply store. Unc'l Dik's offers a bit of something for everyone. You can find great clothing fashions, jewelry, home and garden products, plus your camping needs. Going out in your boat for the day? Grab a snack and a bag of ice for those fish you're going to reel in. A recently added eating area next to Unc'l Dik's provides you room to have a snack or rest your feet for the walk back.
The General Store, In years past has been an arcade, diner, mortuary, post office, ice cream store, and, of course, a general store, where one could get meat, groceries, and dry goods. The store boasts a larger selection of resort wear, such as ladies' dresses, summer outfits, and some men's apparel. One and two-piece swim wear lines by Biki and Winki feature nautical motifs. Souvenir t-shirts and sweatshirts are available in extended size sup to 5XL.
Sweet Valley Trading Post operates a (in-season) garden center, with annuals, perennials, herbs, hanging baskets, ferns, mulch, and topsoil. Once you step inside the store, you are greeted with a variety of clothing options, from infant sizes to adult, featuring the natural side of Kelleys Island, bugs, birds, flowers, and a few butterfly accents here and there. For chilly summer nights, check out the sweatshirts and jackets; for sunny days they carry hats and visors to shield your face and eyes.
Kelleys Island Farm Market is your fresh produce headquarters! Kelleys Island Farm Market is open Memorial Day weekend through the fall and is located in front of Sweet Valley Trading Company on Division Street just minutes from the campground. The farm market features seasonally fresh, locally grown produce including: lettuce, squash, cucumbers, sweet corn, asparagus, strawberries, watermelons, cantaloupes, honeydews, and lots more. There are also some surprises including jams and Amish baked goods! Stop in Thursday through Sunday to purchase all your favorite produce! While supplies last, variety depends on season.
