Claire was diagnosed at 3 years old with Rett Syndrome. Rett Syndrome is a neurological disorder that primarily affects girls. It is the most debilitating Autism Spectrum disorder. Girls with Rett Syndrome loose all functional hand use and the ability to speak. Claire is unable to walk and takes medication to control seizures. Along with constant care, Claire needs all forms of therapy.



Contributions made here will be used for the construction of a therapy room with adjoining bed/bath to suit Claire’s specific needs. Without being wheel chair accessible, we do a lot of carrying to get her from place to place for simple daily routines. Claire is just over 40 inches tall and weighs about 37 pounds. (Her big eyes and smile weigh the most) This purposeful space is much needed for Claire and her team of family, friends and therapists.
