Thank you for your interest in Hoelzer’s Holiday House! We hope you will choose to stay with us when you visit Kelleys Island. Here is what our Kelleys Island home has to offer:

Sleeps 8-10 people comfortably in 3 bedrooms: two upstairs, one with a queen size bed the other with one twin bunk bed and a single twin, and one downstairs with a full size bed. Two separate living rooms, one upstairs and one downstairs, offer queen size pull-out sleeper sofas. The kitchen has a full size refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster, blender, mixer and all the pots, pans, plates and utensils you will need. The downstairs bathroom offers a shower with a separate sink area and the upstairs bath has a tub w/ shower. The upstairs family room has a TV/VCR/DVD, satellite dish and a CD/cassette/radio shelf stereo. There are also a variety of books, games and toys to entertain on the rare KI rainy day. The upstairs family room looks out onto a large deck that is on the lake side of the house where you can see a “peek” of the lake through the trees. The downstairs living room also has a TV/VCR. NEW FOR 2008! Washer and dryer use included! There is a gas grill and a fire pit for campfires, plus a picnic table for outside eating. The house has central heat and air conditioning and has ceiling fans in every room. The entire house was remodeled summer 2002 and updated with new flooring, paint and furniture summer 2007 (updates not reflected in photos yet).

Hoelzer’s Holiday House is close to everything! We’re located approx. 1 mile east of the Kelleys Island Ferry dock – about 1 1/4 miles from downtown and 2 miles from the State Beach.

We rent by the week only during the summer season (Memorial Day to Labor Day) and by the week or weekend in the off season. 2008 weekly rental rate is $1075.00 with a $250.00 security deposit required to hold your reservation. This amount will be refunded, less any damage costs, within 14 days after your stay. Half of the rental is due 30 days before arrival and the remainder is due 2 weeks prior to arrival. Deposit is refundable if you cancel 30 days in advance, 50% refunded with 2 weeks notice. If it is less than 2 weeks from reservation date, deposit is not refundable and there is no credit.

We rent Sunday to Sunday with check in at 4:00 p.m. and check out at 11:30 a.m. No pets or smoking please!
