Vacation Rental Rates and Terms June, July, August: Weekly rentals only - $1800/week for 5-6 people - children included (discounted to $1500/week for groups of 4 people or fewer - children included). June and July 2011 are already booked. May and September/October: Weekends - $750 (discounted to $500 for groups of 4 or fewer). Longer stays negotiable. Memorial Day and Labor Day 3 day weekends - $1000 Prices include linens, taxes, paper/plastic/cleaning products $500 booking deposit required to hold dates (in case of cancellation, the deposit is not refundable unless the dates are rerented) Booking deposit becomes a security deposit upon arrival of renters and is refundable 2 wks after departure assuming no damage, compliance with lease, and house left as clean as it was upon arrival. The house was built in 1892 by Doctor William Burger, a prominent island resident. It has been the summer retreat for the Zettler family since 1976 when they were serving abroad in the diplomatic corps. Toby, Nora and their family re-established grape growing on Kelleys Island and their son Kirt and his wife Robby now own and operate Kelleys Island Wine Company and Deli Bistro.
