The open floor plan with the vaulted ceiling in the kitchen area and the sunken family room facing the lake strikes a perfect balance between old and new. This balance is even more pronounced when seeing the French doors to the parlor (now the master bedroom) and the original staircase leading up to the 3 bedrooms and half bathroom. The large kitchen, dinning area, and family room share an open space which creates an ideal setting for a gathering of family and friends. For your outdoor enjoyment, there is a large deck off the family room and two pavilions with concrete floors that are attached to the Barn: one faces the lake and the other is on the west side. You are surrounded by two acres of lawn and trees with a view of the lake instead of neighbors. There is a fire pit for starry nights and a hammock to lounge under shady trees. As the house name implies – come to slow time down and enjoy the moment.
