Then DO NOT go to Kelleys Island!!
From the Grocery store owners watching you as if you where going to rip them off to the Mayor's own father shutting down the airport to the helicopter rides as two more where waiting in line (My 6 year old son one of them lucky we got our money back) Kelley's appears to be going out of there way to be as non family as they can. I could go on but I just wanted to be sure to let anyone that is looking for a family retreat to know that it is no longer at Kelley's Island!!!

KELLEYS ISLAND IS AWESOME. ITS A SMALL TOWN. IT DOES HAVE IT'S FAULTS. EVERY TOWN DOES! THE GROCERY STORE OWNERS DON'T KNOW YOU AND THEY KNOW THE CAN TRUST THE RESIDENTS. THE MAYORS FATHER PROBABLY HAS A GOOD REASON MAYBE TO SAVE MONEY!? HELICOPTER RIDES? GET THEM ELSEWHERE! KELLEY'S ISLAND IS THE PERFECT PLACE FOR PEACE AND QUIET!

My family and I have visited Kelleys Island for many years and we love it! Everyone is very nice and customer service is excellent. I love the small town atmosphere and the lack of tourist attractions. My daughters look forward to our visit every year.
