Hi,
Can anyone give some advice as to some nice places to get married on Kelleys Island? My fiance and I had a big wonderful wedding planned, but due to some family issues, we decided to make it a small intimate wedding, and we are now looking for places to get married. We have a sailboat docked at Sandusky Marina and thought it might be nice to get married on the Island.
Also, I am not sure what is involved in trying to plan a wedding on Kelleys Island, it would be nice to get married on the beach somewhere, so i am sure there are permits or some kind of license that we will need. Any ideas of places and how to go about that would be very helpful.

Feel free to give me a call. For the first time, this year there is a wedding planner on the island. I have been working with her for a few months now. She has several locations where she can hold weddings. I am a wedding DJ on the island, but even if yournot looking to have a DJ, give me a call. I have a neat idea to incorporate your sail boat if you wish. 440.570.6942

Patti Johnson is a wedding planner on the island. 419-746-2820. She has planned many weddings and has a nice location on the lake. If your guests are looking for lodging, I have a home on the lake that I rent. kelleysisland.com/margeslakefront/
